Being a drum teacher is not just a profession; it's a passion for me. I offer both online and in-person drum lessons, each tailored to be a personalised, enjoyable, and productive musical experience. My approach is simple: I'm here to pass on my love for drumming and music to each and every student. Through engaging lessons, we'll explore the world of rhythm and beats, building not just skills, but a genuine passion for music.
My journey in music began in Year 7 when I first picked up the sticks, setting the beat that would become the rhythm of my life. This rhythm led me to the world of music education. I delved into the world of GCSE music, laying the foundation for what would become a lifelong passion.
From there, I ventured to Crosskeys College to pursue a Level 3 BTEC in Music Performance. It was here that my love for music and drumming truly flourished. I honed my craft, delving deeper into different music styles, music theory, and gaining invaluable performance skills.
As I progressed, I achieved a Grade 8 in drumming through Trinity Guildhall grades, a testament to my dedication to mastering the art of percussion.
My educational journey reached new heights when I found myself at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) in Guildford. Here, I had the privilege of learning from music greats like Pete Riley, Frank Tontoh, and other renowned mentors. The experiences and knowledge gained during my educational path have equipped me to provide a comprehensive and enriching music education to my students. I'm not just a drummer; I'm a music educator who's been shaped by years of learning and a profound love for the art.
Choose your preferred learning style with my drum lessons. Enjoy the convenience of online sessions or the personal touch of in-person instruction. Both options are tailored to your goals, making your rhythmic journey engaging and educational.
