Private Drum Lessons in South Wales

Online or in-person, for all ages and abilities

I’ve been teaching drums privately since 2017 and in schools since 2022. Lessons are tailored to each student’s goals, whether that’s learning your favourite songs, improving technique, or preparing for graded exams. My approach focuses on groove, feel, and making every lesson fun and productive.
  • Graded tuition (Trinity or RSL)

  • Technique & rudiments

  • Playing along to songs you love

  • Improvisation & creativity

  • External exam or concert prep (school concerts, live gigs etc.)

Lessons are available online via Zoom or in-person at my South Wales studio. Flexible session lengths to fit your schedule:

30 minute sessions - £18

60 minute sessions - £30

”Jonathan teaches my son (who just wants to play random songs) and my daughter (who wants to be a drummer and is doing her grades). My two thourghly enjoy their lessons, Jonathan is very patient, an excellent teacher and I highly recommend him for lessons.”
